FOR AN EVEN MORE ATTRACTIVE SCHOOL CAMPUS
- The school campus must also be an attractive meeting place for our children after school and encourage contacts and exchanges between parents. Based on public consultation, we want to make the campus even safer and more attractive. We are thinking of a wider range of leisure facilities (e.g. a skate park or bike park), improved lighting from time to time, more benches, barriers separating parking spaces from footpaths, etc.
FOR NATURE, BIODIVERSITY AND MORE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
- Develop photovoltaic systems on communal buildings, as well as for private people.
- Enhance the value of communal gardens and promote the “Giele Bändchen” scheme so that local residents can benefit from them.

- We’d like to get involved in bringing a pharmacy to the commune.
- We want to check whether an unused municipal building could be used as a “co-working space” for young entrepreneurs in the commune.

- Relaunch of the Betzbus
- Promoting soft mobility
- Safer pedestrian and cycle routes, particularly towards the supermarket.
- Installation of “service stations” for bicycles, offering compressed air, electricity and a range of tools, for example near railway stations or the school campus.
- Supporting pedibus and bikebus initiatives for school.
- Improving bus stop infrastructure
- Installation of digital bus signs
- Commitment to better bus links, for example between Olingen and Banzelt.
- Creating short-term parking spaces near the station for customers of the village shop and for patients of our doctors.
