FUTURElab series relaunch: Shaping the Future of Housing

Last Saturday, 7th February 2026, the FUTURElab series relaunched, bringing Democratic Party members together to exchange ideas, experiences, and positions on key political topics. This edition focused on housing.

At the Nicolas Braun Cultural Center in Hesperange, the morning began with introductory remarks from Claude Meisch, Minister of Housing and Spatial Planning; Eric Thill, Minister of Culture; and Claude Lamberty, Deputy Secretary General of the DP, setting the stage for a lively and collaborative workshop.

Our international members turned out in strong numbers, engaging in rich discussions on topics ranging from new constructions to the challenges faced by young people. Innovative ideas and practical solutions emerged throughout the morning.

These conversations aren’t just talk: the ideas shared help shape real initiatives and policies within the Democratic Party, keeping members’ voices at the heart of the process.
