I am married and have 4 children. Over 20 years ago, I came to Luxembourg, which has now become my second home and has provided me with a better quality of life throughout the years. That is why I want to dedicate myself to improving the quality of life and promoting integration here in the municipality of Contern.

My name is Meho Bajrami and I am 48 years old. I am married and have 4 children.
My roots originally lie in Bosnia. At the age of 25, I came to Luxembourg to provide my family with a better quality of life.
As part of my education, I attended a traffic school (similar to training for a driving instructor) and learned the profession of an electrician.
I have been working in the municipality of Hesperange since 2007. What excites me the most is that I often interact with people and can establish social connections. Sports and craftsmanship are also part of my daily activities.
In my free time, I enjoy being in nature, fishing on the Moselle, or traveling to new countries to explore different cultures.
The issue that is dear to my heart and for which I want to advocate is a sustainable municipal infrastructure, such as better mobility and housing situation in the municipality of Contern. This way, young people, couples, and young families can find a foothold in our community, especially during times of crisis in housing. Strengthening the coexistence of families, children, teenagers, and seniors is also a driving force for me, so that equal conditions for a better quality of life can be provided for all age groups in the community.
