Sven Bindels

Sven Bindels is 43 years old and lives in Mamer with his wife and two small kids.

Sven works for Post Technologies, where he manages and monitors fibre optics projects.

After his good results at the national elections in 2013 (elected in 6th place on the DP list fort he South of Luxembourg), Sven became president of the Mamer section of the Democratic Party and was elected to the town council in 2017.

At the communal elections 2023, he was reelected and the candidate with the most votes  on the list of the DP Gemeng Mamer.

Sven has a long career as a football referee and lives his passion for sports also in private.

As a town councillor and president of the DP section Mamer, he stands up for a genuine and innovative communal policy closely meeting the needs of his fellow citizens.

Jessica Klopp

Committed, determined and always positive: Jessica Klopp, 36, of Mamer, is a person who doesn’t like to sit at home twiddling her thumbs, but rather rolls up her sleeves to get things going.

At the top of the teacher’s list of priorities is youth, which she would like to give a stronger voice in Mamer. But it is also important to her to invest in the future of the young people, especially by promoting nature and climate protection.

Jessica is a member of the local youth and education committees and is involved in many associations, including the “Harmonie Gemeng Mamer”.

On the political side, she was a long time member of the Young Liberals before joining the Democratic Party. Jessica is the secretary of the local branch of the DP Gemeng Mamer and vice president of the DP Southern Regional Committee.

At the local elections on June 11 2023 she was the elected  as a town councillor with the second most votes on the list of the DP Gemeng Mamer.
