What about the new road connecting the Grand-Duc Jean barracks and the Fridhaff?

The construction should in principle have started at the end of 2020, which is why the deputy of the DP André Bauler inquired with the competent minister on the progress of the matter.

Answer

The dossier for the tender will be ready soon, the environmental authorization will be requested thereafter. What has been missing so far is the land, and if no solution is found, the expropriation procedure will start. From the moment all this is cleared up, one could count on six months until the beginning of the works and with another 18 months until the works are completed.
