How do you get the traffic in Saeul under control?

DP MP André Bauler asked the responsible minister how traffic in Saeul has developed since 2017 and what measures he is planning to improve the situation.

« Il est un secret de polichinelle que les deux traversées de la localité de Saeul, la route de Mersch (N8) et la route principale (N12), souffrent de flux de trafic de plus en plus importants. Il n’est donc pas surprenant que le ministère de la Mobilité et des Travaux publics se soit proposé d’y prendre des mesures afin d’apaiser et de sécuriser le trafic de passage.

Voilà pourquoi j’aimerais poser les questions suivantes à Monsieur le Ministre de la Mobilité et des Travaux publics :

  • Monsieur le Ministre dispose-t-il d’informations sur l’évolution des mouvements journaliers de véhicules traversant le village de Saeul de 2017 à nos jours ?
  • Quel est le nombre moyen de poids lourds qui transitent tous les jours par ce village depuis 2017 ?
  • La densité du trafic durant les heures de pointe s’est-elle renforcée entretemps ?
  • Monsieur le Ministre peut-il présenter le nouveau concept de sécurisation des traversées du village de Saeul ? Dans quels délais ce projet pourrait-il se concrétiser afin d’améliorer la qualité de vie des citoyens ? »

Will a second PET-CT be purchased ?

The former Minister of Health had announced that a second PET-CT could possibly be purchased in order to shorten the waiting time for patients. DP MPs André Bauler and Carole Hartmann have asked the current Minister of Health where the preparations for the purchase of this second PET-CT are at, whether this machine could possibly come to the hospital in Ettelbrück and how the number of treatments in this area has developed over the last 10 years.
