How many people are immunised against tetanus?

The tetanus vaccination needs to be renewed at regular intervals to remain effective, but not everyone thinks about this important booster. DP MP André Bauler has therefore asked the Minister of Health how many people are currently effectively vaccinated, how many deaths have occurred due to tetanus in the last 10 years and how many electronic vaccination cards have been activated so far.

Question

D’Tetanus-Impfung géint de sou genannte « Wund-Starrkrampf » ass eng Impfung, déi souwuel bei Kanner wéi bei Erwuessenen duerchgefouert gëtt. Si muss reegelméisseg widderholl gi fir wierksam ze sinn. Et gëtt etlech Fäll, wou dës Impfung awer net widderholl gëtt, well d’Leit sech net méi drun erënneren, keen Impfpass hunn oder et guer net méi wëssen.

Aus deem Grond wollt ech d’Madamm Gesondheetsministesch Follgendes froen:

  • Féiert d’Santé Statistiken iwwer d’Zuel vun de Leit, déi an der Bevëlkerung géint Tetanus geimpft sinn? Wa jo, wéi héich ass dëse Prozentsaz an de verschiddenen Alterskategorien?
  • Wéi vill Leit sinn an de leschten zéng Joer un Tetanus verscheet an a wéi engem Alter ?
  • Plangt d’Santé fir d’Leit ze sensibiliséieren dës Impfung a reegelméissegen Ofstänn maachen ze loossen?
  • Wéi vill elektronesch Impfcarneten (CVE) goufe bis haut aktivéiert?
  • Wéi vill Dokteren notzen den Outil vum CVE, opgeschlësselt no Spezialisatioun?”

How long do patients wait for authorisation for a dental prosthesis?

When a patient needs a dental prosthesis, the dentist must first send a cost estimate to the Medical Control of the Social Security (CMSS). Without the authorisation of the CMSS, the patient will not be reimbursed for the dental prosthesis.

DP MPs Corinne Cahen and Carole Hartmann have asked the minister responsible how many estimates have been received this year, how long the waiting times currently are and whether interim solutions can be proposed to a patient until the CMSS has given its approval.
