As part of its autumn campaign, the DP invites you to four evenings of discussion about the challenges facing our economy and society. For 13 years, the DP has been working in government on practical solutions to modernise our country.
Now is the time to prepare the next steps. Climate change, geopolitical uncertainty and new technologies require us to think ahead and make tomorrow’s decisions today. The development of our regions is an important part of this discussion.
Monday 19 October at the Ancien Cinéma in Vianden
How can we strengthen the local economy in the North and create opportunities for rural areas? We will also discuss the role of our heritage and environmental and climate policies that take our everyday lives into account. We want to explore how we can make the most of this potential and improve quality of life.

Tuesday 27 October at the Bierger- a Kulturhaus in Mondorf-les-Bains
Our economy must also prepare for tomorrow. Our businesses need room to grow, a reliable and affordable energy supply, and the right conditions for innovation. How can we safeguard jobs and strengthen competitiveness? And how can new technologies help us achieve this? Economic change should create new opportunities for our businesses and their employees while securing our prosperity.

Tuesday 17 November at Kinepolis Belval in Esch-sur-Alzette
Our changing society will be another important focus of these discussions. How can we support families, prepare our children for life and tackle poverty? A more practical approach to education and a better balance between family and working life are key priorities. We must also consider how to create affordable housing that gives people greater stability in their lives.

Monday 23 November at Ciné Utopia in Limpertsberg
Luxembourg’s future also depends on modern infrastructure and transport that meet demand. At the same time, digitalisation is transforming our everyday lives. How can we make the most of these opportunities while protecting our data? How can we strengthen cybersecurity? These challenges require progress and security to go hand in hand, so that people can have confidence in new solutions.
