No more tax office in Clervaux and Wiltz?

Many people in the northern district are alarmed by the planned closure of the tax offices in Clervaux and Wiltz. Liberal MP André Bauler has submitted a series of questions on the matter to the Minister of Finance.

„De Weekend konnt een an der Press liesen, dass spéitstens 2028 d’Steierbüroen an de Gemenge Clierf a Wooltz zougemaach solle ginn. Als Grond dofir huet d’Steierverwaltung uginn, dass déi aktuell Raimlechkeeten d’Accessibilitéit an d’Sécherheet net garantéiere kéinten. Fir dëst ze kompenséiere sollen zu Housen an zu Ettelbréck zwee nei Büroen opgoen.

Vill Leit aus dem Nordbezierk sinn erféiert, dass ausgerechent am Kanton Wooltz, deen iwwer déi lescht Joren demografesch staark gewuess ass an deen och an Zukunft nach vill nei Awunner unzéie wäert, staatlech Aarbechtsplaze sollen ofgebaut ginn. Déi digital Demarchen, op déi ëmmer méi Leit zeréckgräifen, kënnen ni den direkte Kontakt mat de kompetente Beamte vum Steierbüro ersetzen, wann dësen erfuerdert ass. Bei méi komplexe Steierdossiere respektiv méi ongewinnte Steierfroen, déi trotz méi intensiver Digitaliséierung och an Zukunft bleiwen, wäert dat weider de Fall sinn.

  • Ass an de genannte Gemengen no anere passenden Infrastrukture gesicht ginn, déi d’Krittäre vu Sécherheet an Accessibilitéit erfëllen?
  • Fënnt de Finanzminister et akzeptabel, wann am ganze Kanton Wooltz iwwerhaapt kee Steierbüro méi ass, wuelwëssend, datt eng Annexe nimools e richtege Steierbüro ersetze kann?
  • Ass et virgesi fir d’Personal an de Steierbüroe vum Norden opzestocken, fir der steigender Demande vun de Biergerinnen a Bierger gerecht ze ginn ?“

A healthy and balanced diet has been proven to contribute to a better healing process and reduce the risk of complications. More legal certainty before the labour court?

If a staff representative has been suspended due to serious misconduct, an employer can request that the employment relationship be terminated in court, e.g. via a counterclaim. However, DP MPs Corinne Cahen and Carole Hartmann were informed that the President of the Labour Court repeatedly rejects these applications. This leads to problems in the enforcement of labour law and to legal and financial difficulties for the employer. The DP MPs therefore wanted to know from the Minister of Labour how he interprets the relevant paragraph in the Labour Code, whether the rejection of the counterclaim by the President of the Labour Court is in accordance with the law and whether more legal certainty should be provided.
