When will health checks be introduced at GPs?

The government’s coalition agreement provides for the introduction of regular health checks from the age of 30. DP MPs André Bauler and Carole Hartmann asked the Minister of Health how far the implementation of this initiative has progressed, whether special training courses will be offered for doctors and whether the DSP will be used in this context.

MILA successor

At the School Commission meeting on 17 June 2025, it was announced that the MILA literacy programme in German will be phased out and replaced by a new curriculum. Currently, only about 20 % of pupils still use it, as many teachers consider it outdated. Our PMs Gilles Baum and Barbara Agostino ask the Minister of Education about the upcoming changes, the timeline for implementation and the training planned for teachers.

Cooperation between the LNS and private laboratories and automation within the LNS

Biopsy analysis plays a crucial role in diagnosing serious diseases such as cancer. Despite certain improvements, waiting times at the LNS remain long, particularly in oncology, gynecology and dermatology – a heavy burden for patients. Our PMs Mandy Minella and Dr. Gérard Schockmel ask the Minister of Health what measures are planned regarding automation, digitalisation and possible cooperation with private laboratories.
