When will autonomous driving be allowed in Luxembourg?

Germany is considering permitting autonomous driving on certain roads in the midst of normal traffic in the near future. The deputy of the DP Max Hahn wanted to know from the competent minister how far Luxembourg is in this regard?

« Déi däitsch Regierung huet rezent e Gesetzesprojet virgestallt, mat deem Däitschland dat éischt Land weltwäit géif ginn, dat d’Conduite autonome am normale Stroosseverkéier erlaabt. Dëst wier zwar nëmmen op festgeluechte Strecke méiglech, mee hei dierften awer Gefierer vum Niveau 4 vun insgesamt 5, wat d’Autonomie betrëfft, zirkuléieren. Méi genee heescht dat, dass et sech hei ëm vollautomatiséiert Fueren handelt, bei deem de Chauffer just a Geforesituatioune muss agräifen.

An deem Kader wollt ech dem Här Minister fir Mobilitéit an ëffentlech Aarbechte folgend Froe stellen:

– Ass den Här Minister au Courant vun dëser Entwécklung ?

– Wéi wäit ass Lëtzebuerg am Bezuch op d’Autorisatioun vum autonome Fueren am normale Stroosseverkéier ?

– Huet d’Regierung wëlles sech um däitsche Gesetzesprojet fir eng eventuell Legaliséierung vun der Conduite autonome z’inspiréieren ?

– Fir wéini wier en änleche Schrëtt wéi an Däitschland hei zu Lëtzebuerg denkbar ?

– Wat sinn d’Tëscheresultater vum gemeinsame Pilot-Projet mat Däitschland a Frankräich an der Groussregioun zu deem Sujet ? »
