A radar on the tracks for more safety at track crossings?

Would radars at track crossings be an idea to be able to avoid accidents like the one that recently happened in Bertrange? In Germany, there are already such devices in various places that warn the train when something is on the tracks. The DP MP Max Hahn has asked the responsible minister about this idea and also wanted to know how the CFL is progressing with the replacement of the railway barriers by subways.

Am Ausland, z.B. an Däitschland, ginn et op verschiddene Plaze sougenannt „Gefahrenraum-Freimeldeanlagen“, déi mellen, wann en Objet op de Schinne steet a sou eng Kollisioun solle verhënneren.

An deem Kader wollt ech dem Här Minister fir Mobilitéit an ëffentlech Aarbechten folgend Froe stellen:

  • Zu wéi ville sou Accidenter wéi dee rezenten zu Bartreng ass et an de leschte fënnef Joer zu Lëtzebuerg komm?
  • Ginn et Plazen, wou sou Accidenter besonnesch dacks virkommen?
  • Wéi vill Passages à niveau sinn an de leschte fënnef Joer wechgeholl ginn?
