What is the status of the development of a national park & ride strategy?

The coalition agreement provides for the development of a “national parking and park-and-ride strategy (P&R)”. The deputy of the DP Max Hahn inquired with the competent minister on the state of the development of this document.

– Wat d’P&R betrëfft, wéi vill Projete sinn an de leschten zwee Joer ofgeschloss ginn ? Wéi vill nei Parkplaze sinn tëscht 2018 an 2020 geschaaft ginn ?

Answer

Work is currently underway on the second phase of the national parking space strategy, in which on the one hand the parking space available will be identified and solutions will be developed on the other. In the first phase, the aim was to identify the data needed to develop the strategy. In the third phase, concrete recommendations will be developed. The national parking space strategy could then be presented at the end of 2021.
