In his state of the nation address, Prime Minister Xavier Bettel highlighted the social-liberal aims of the government by announcing new social measures.
These include:
Increase of the cost of living allowance
Free school lunches for low and middle income families
Child benefit re-indexation
Free homework support
Fee day care centre (maison relais) during school weeks
Free music lessons
