What are the results of the public consultation regarding the third management plan?

As provided for in the water framework directive, a public consultation was organized regarding the third management plan, in which both private individuals and municipalities could submit their comments and opinions. DP MP Gusty Graas asked what the outcome of this consultation was.

« Dans le cadre de l’élaboration du projet du troisième plan de gestion, tel que prévu par la directive-cadre sur l’eau, une consultation du public a été lancée le 17 avril 2021. Ainsi les citoyens avaient la possibilité de soumettre leurs observations et remarques jusqu’au 17 octobre ; le délai pour les communes pour soumettre leur avis était fixé au 17 novembre. Pendant ce temps un certain nombre de séances d’information ont également été organisées.

Dans ce contexte, j’aimerais poser les questions suivantes à Madame la Ministre de l’Environnement, du Climat et du Développement durable :

  • Combien de remarques de la part de citoyens ont été soumises ?
  • Combien de communes ont soumis un avis relatif au projet du troisième plan de gestion ?
  • Combien de personnes ont participé aux différentes séances d’information qui ont été organisées ?
  • Quelles suites Madame la Ministre entend-elle donner aux remarques et avis soumis ?
  • Quand une version définitive du projet du plan de gestion pourra-t-elle être présentée ? »

Should the LNS and private laboratories work closer together on biopsies?

The LNS, which has a monopoly in this area, has taken a number of measures to counteract the long waiting times for the evaluation of biopsies.
DP MPs Mandy Minella and Dr Gérard Schockmel have asked the Minister of Health what impact these measures have had on waiting times and whether greater cooperation with private laboratories should be considered in order to further reduce waiting times.

No more reimbursement for dermatoscopic photos?

As part of a dermatologist’s examination, photos can be taken of suspicious skin areas where there is a risk of skin cancer developing. DP MP Gusty Graas has now been informed that these photos will no longer be reimbursed by health insurance. In a parliamentary question to the Minister of Health, the liberal politician would like to know, among other things, why this decision was made and how many patients have been reimbursed for such photos taken by dermatologists in the last five years.
