When will the PC35 cycle path be completed?

Apparently, only a small part would be missing, then the PC35 bike path could be completed. This would create a continuous bicycle connection from the Sanem and Bascharage area, over the communes of Dippach and Bertrange to Mamer and Luxembourg city. DP MPs Max Hahn and Frank Colabianchi asked the minister responsible for when these works could be completed.

« D‘Prioritéit fir d‘Fäerdegstellung vun der Vëlospist PC 35 (al PC 38) ass rezent vun 2 op 1 ëmklasséiert ginn. Tatsächlech muss nach just d’Ënnerféierung vun der N5 op der Héicht vun der Gréivelsbarriäre realiséiert an de Belag am Bësch frësch gemaach ginn, fir eng duerchgehend Verbindung fir de Vëlo vu Suessem, iwwer d’Gemengen Dippech a Bartreng, bis an d’Stad ofzeschléissen.

An deem Kader wollte mir dem Här Minister fir Mobilitéit an ëffentlech Baute folgend Froe stellen:

– Wéini gëtt de Belag am Bësch erneiert?

– Wéini gëtt d’Ënnerféierung vun der N5 realiséiert?

– Wéi laang wäerten des Aarbechten daueren? »

Response

Since the cycle path passes through a nature reserve, the prescribed analysis for the works had to be carried out before starting any works. On this basis, a detailed preliminary project is currently being prepared. As it is a slightly more complicated construction project, the works are expected to take a little over a year.

DP MPs Luc Emering and André Bauler put a number of questions to the Minister for the Environment concerning the crushing of materials in the green zone.
